Doug Yates is a Hall of Fame race car engine builder, former NASCAR team owner, and mechanic. He is the son of championship team owner and NASCAR Hall of Fame member Robert Yates and formerly operated Yates Racing in the Sprint Cup Series. DougYates currently is the President and CEO of Roush Yates Engines, the primary builder of Ford engines in the top-two NASCAR series (NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Cup Series); as well as Ford Performance teams in the IMSA Michelin Pilot Challenge Series.
The ring we produced for Doug Yates was a lifetime achievement ring. It included a bit about his background working up the ranks and being apart of legendary teams. It also included custom cut blue sapphire stones around the bezel and a quadruple waterfall edge. Inside the ring there is a custom engraving that includes his 200 career cup series wins.
